Spicy Noodles Recipe
Chewy noodles coated in a spicy, garlicky, savory sauce is the perfect comfort meal! This spicy noodles recipe is super versatile and can be as hot or as mild as you please. You can also add meat and vegetables to turn it into a complete meal!

150 g noodles (any kind) 6 garlic cloves 1 green onion (scallions or spring onions) 3 tbsp red chili flakes 2 tbsp cooking oil 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds Sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce (light or regular) 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1/4 cup water
Prep Finely chop garlic and thinly slice green onion. Keep green part of the onion separately for garnish.
Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce and water in bowl. This makes it easy while cooking.
Cook noodles as per the package instructions, rinse with cold water, drain well and keep it aside.
Make the Sauce On low flame, fry the garlic and white part of the green onion in 2 tbsp cooking oil until they turn golden.
Add the red chili flakes. Fry until fragrant ensuring the chili doesn't burn.
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, water mixture and simmer until thick, about 3 minutes.
