Pizza Toast Topping Ideas
There are so many incredible toppings that go with these pizza toasts. Whether you like the more classic options or feel adventurous, there’s a lot of room for experimentation. Here are a few of my favorite toppings:
- Pepperoni: A classic favorite, thin slices of spicy or mild pepperoni add a flavorful kick.
- Mozzarella Cheese: A staple on almost every pizza, melted mozzarella provides a gooey, savory layer.
- Sweet Peppers: Sweet snack peppers are great on top of pizza. Bell peppers are delicious too.
- Black Olives: These provide a salty and briny taste, adding depth to the pizza toast.
- Fresh Basil: A fragrant herb that can be added after air frying, contributing a burst of freshness.
- Sausage: Whether it’s Italian sausage or another variety, sausage adds a hearty and savory taste.
- Onions: Red or white onions, when caramelized or sautéed, bring a sweet and savory flavor.
- Jalapenos: Perfect to add a kick of heat and acidity.
- Pesto: Switch up the tomato sauce for pesto sauce for a fresh flavored pizza toast.
